Sabaydii my fellow Satjadham, I have one free verse which I like to share with you. IT is called "I too..." ******************* Devoted to all our brothers and sisters who are tired, disappointed and lonely... I too... Tired, Don't want to move on, it happens to me too. Disappointed, Don't wnat to take part, I have that feeling too. Lonely, Don't want to say even a word, I too am sick of words. I know how you feel. I've been down that road before. The sky is black, black as a fresh charcoal. The day is long, long as a wearisome journey. And the night is cold, cold as a biting blizzard. But why don't I give up? But why don't I lose hope? And but why do I still keep coming up again and again? A long list pops up: innocent-looking eyes of the baby, winkled face of the old grandma, troubled heart of the lost youth, and tormented soul of the Isan people. So on and so on... Tired, we are all in that stage. Disappointed, we are all in that transition. Lonely, we are all in that abyss from time to time. But as a human being, let me extend my hand to you. But as a Quon Lao, let me light the torch of Laoness in you. And as a fellow Satjadham, let me partake your innermost loneliness. **************************** Hak phaang, Kongkeo Saycocie http://www.santarosa.edu/~ksaycoci/kongkeo.html http://www.sonic.net/~kongkeo/Poem.html
