Sabaydii my fellow Satjadham, Our conference is only 10 days away. In order to help us define our group vision, I would like to invite all of our members to share their vision of what Satjadham should be. Please remember that each of your input is highly valued so don't shy it away from making a positive impact especially at this critical junction of our group. Regarding the conference agenda, it looks great. I am thinking of changing just one thing. That is a fund raising for our publication which is set to be led by me. I think it would be better served if Guy can lead this one because it is kind of similar to the one about recruiting and fund raising on Friday 21st. Besides, I am not the kind of person who is good about fund raising or anything of that sort. Hope that Guy wouldn't mind leading this one. Sonny: Your poem has a very powerful image. Too sad that the poem ends like this but that's a logical conclusion which no one can't help. By the way, is this poem for real? I mean: Are the characters in the poem coming from the real people? Just curious. Ky: Your little shapshort about time is great. If only more people think like you, this world will be truly turned into a paradise. Will you take the spot which Sengthiene couldn't fulfil about the generation gap on either 7/10 or 7/17? Euy Bounheng: Yes, we will seek a wisdom from our elders at the conference for we realize that, deep down in our heart, we draw strength from them whether we conciously know it or not. Everybody: If you want to contribute to this round of posting about generation gap, you can do so. Right now, we have 3 slots left: 8/14, 8/21 and 8/28. We will begin a new topic on September. Lastly, here is my vision: I have a vision I have a vision that one day Satjadham will become a gathering of great Lao minds. That is where a new, creative and challenging ideas will be generated by our group, where a camaraderie is formed through heartfelt care and shared ideas, and where concrete plans to help Khon Lao and Muang Lao are passionately carried out. Yes, I have a vision though today it is still made of thin air, but one day with all your hands held together, with all your hearts beat to the same rate, and with all your souls devoted to the same cause; my vision - our vision will become true! ***** Stamina to carry our vision?
