The buffalo moans to greet the day and children praise its birth with laughter. Sitting here in this orchard where kings once walked, We know the wisdom of Buddha. A day is born and darkness dies. So many times in so many dreams, this has always been the way of it. The darkness came to this land of our fathers, with rifles, guns and bombs. In American planes with well fed men, with murder in their hearts. They raped our home and killed our kin. They took away our laughter. But we are strong for we are lao, the children of the river. Our king was stolen from us and though we search we know we can not find him. The prince has told us he will return at the death of all this darkness. So raise your voices in an anthem friends, sing so pure and sweet, as only children ever can. We will call our Lord King home. The darkness dies a bit each day, the light it's slowly growing. We feel his heart upon the wind, but have know way of knowing. What day, what month, what year our king he will return. We do however say to you, be strong and keep the faith. His spirit is our lands true soul, and never went away. D+D We hope we sent it to the right address;) you have so many now we get confused;( Hello Toon ;) ;)
