Here is my February posting. I wrote this almost 3 years ago, and since I
couldn't come up with a fable, I thought I would share this instead.
I wrote this in memory of someone who touched my heart just briefly.

Just for a little while.....
I had you all to myself,
to dream,
and wonder
to plan,
and ponder

Just for a little while....
I imagined your 
flowering face,
etched into a special place
in my soul

Just for a little while...
I was able to cherish you,
build dreams and aspirations
around you

Just for a little while....
I wanted to hold you for 
one precious moment,
I would give anything

Just for a little while....
my life was enriched 
by your presence
