Satjadham presents : I was born in a town alongside of the Mekong river, in my child time I used to sit on the tophill near the fence inside a small garden where my mom grown all kinds of vegetable, that is allow me to see another side of river (somehow the people in my hometown called "fang-thai" Thailand's side). Many things made me like that "fang-thai"when my mom tooks me to the markets over there or most of the time we just crossed the river for the yearly festival and oftenly we were stayed at someone's house for many days; whom my mom called them grand-parents. I was wonder why we should call him grand-pa beside I got my love one at home? my mom explains... he is my grand-pa young brother. I don't care must about those stuffs and who ever is ! but I know he has a big house and a car, at night his house light-up with electricity bulbs...!! As adolescent ! I enjoyed to come to "fang-thai" by myself regularly when school off and young grand-pa tooks me to every Buddha temple festivals around the Land they speak same as my mine " I am wonder why?". And more wonder I have had was: during "That Phanom" (Phanom Cheddi) yearly festival; grand-pa was in charge of the ceremony receptions for the people from Bane Phonh Sao Eh "fang-lao" near Sebangfai and Mekong rivers delta. I ask grand-pa why those villagers take the main roles for such grand opening ceremony? grand-pa did'nt answer my question but just shakes his head sadly...and for many years the question about Bane Phonh Sao Eh's still stick in my mind. After finished high school from my hometown I have to leave for Vientiane "the Capital city" to attend the secondary high; I missed my hometown a lot (tears came out on the day I take the boat). At Vientiane, I'm totally surprise and more wonder then I can't imagine...almost all the Pagoda names are the same as over "fang-thai" I used to visit. And "Bane Phonh Sao Eh" village and mystery people that no one has the answer for me came back for ??? again... and untill today. Any comments, answer or questions please reply to SCL or Laolit.
