SatJaDham proudly presents an installment in our series of "Different perspective of life". The following poem is by Sonny Nhouyvanisovng. It is a revised version of "HOME or Family or What?" Homeward I belong like a fish in the sea. I belong like a tree in the forest. I belong like a star in the sky. I belong, I belong, I belong. I am alone in the fresh, open sea. I am alone in the cool, majestic forest. I am alone under the warm, clear sky. I am alone, I am alone, I am alone. Which way home, across the cold, stormy sea? Which way home, through the dark, rainy forest? Which way home, beneath the vast, gloomy sky? Which way home, which way home, which way home? Take me home pass the roaring sea. Take me home through the echoing forest. Take me home beyond the thundering sky. Take me home, take me home, take me home. I am fishing in the calm, blue sea with my father. I am hiking in the quiet, green forest with my brother and sister. I am gazing under the peaceful, luminous sky with my mother. I am home, I am home, I am home.
